Amy Schumer & Boyfriend Ben Hanisch Break Up
Yet another Hollywood couple has called it quits.
Comedienne and all-round funny lady, Amy Schumer, and her boyfriend of just over a year, Ben Hanisch, have reportedly broken up.
Rumours of a possible breakup have been doing the rounds for the past month, as the two have not been spotted together for quite sometime.
Amy is currently on the press tour for her new movie, ‘Snatched’ and Ben has been notably absent from her appearances.
She has also not mentioned him in interviews and her recent social media posts are noticeably sans Ben.
“Amy and Ben have ended their relationship after thoughtful consideration and remain friends,” Amy’s publicist told E! News.
The two got together in January of last year, and Amy could not stop gushing over her romance, calling Ben her ‘first real boyfriend’.
“I feel like Ben is the first guy who’s really been my boyfriend…There are guys who, if they heard me say that, would want to punch me in the face, but yeah, it’s the truth,” she told Marie Claire magazine last year.
Amy also regularly joked about their relationship, saying that people were surprised that an attractive guy like Ben was her boyfriend.
“We met and like totally fell in love and it’s been really good, and it became viral Internet news. I think it’s because he’s really cute and people were like, ‘What? Dating Amy? He has all his teeth!’ Like, people were shocked. They were shocked,” she told Jimmy Fallon.
Well, with her wit and personality we’re sure Amy won’t be single for long!
