Amanda Bynes is Not Pregnant, Says Lawyer
Amanda Bynes’ lawyer has confirmed that his client is not actually pregnant.
On 17 March, the 34-year-old “All That” star announced her pregnancy via Instagram, where she posted a now-deleted photo of an ultrasound.
Her fiance, Paul Michael – to whom Bynes became engaged in February – shared the same photo to his Instagram account before deleting it shortly afterwards.
However, speaking to a media outlet on Monday, 4 May, David Esquibias – Bynes’ lawyer – revealed that his client was definitely not expecting her first child.
Adding that his client was seeking treatment for “ongoing medical issues”, Esquibias explained: “She is not living in a sober living facility. She’s sheltering at [sic] a safe environment.”
This news comes two months after Bynes was ordered to seek treatment at a mental health facility by the judge overseeing her conservatorship case. Although the actress reportedly agreed to the terms, she refused to check herself into a treatment centre after leaving the courthouse.
Esquibias has also asked for privacy on behalf of Bynes at this time.
