Amanda Bynes’ Fiance: We Never Broke Up

The fiance of Amanda Bynes is shutting down reports that he and the actress had ended their engagement.

Earlier this week, Bynes seemingly confirmed that she and her fiance, Paul Mitchell, had broken up for good after she deleted all photos of him from her Instagram account.

Additionally, Mitchell apparently spoke to a media publication about their alleged split, calling Bynes his “best friend”.

However, speaking to another media publication on Tuesday, 10 March, Mitchell claimed that he and the “What a Girl Wants” star were still together.

He explained: “Both of our Instagrams got hacked, and someone deleted our pictures and sent direct messages saying we broke up. We never broke up and weren’t able to log into our Instagrams until last night [Monday, 10 March]. Assumably [the person wanted] to make it seem like we broke up.”

Mitchell also clarified that Bynes – who has suffered with insobriety and legal worries in the past – had been ordered to go to a residential treatment centre for anxiety and trauma therapy.
