Amanda Bynes Announces Engagement

Amanda Bynes is engaged to be married!

The 33-year-old actress-turned-fashion designer announced her engagement last Friday, 14 February, with a photo she posted to her Instagram account.

In the photo, Bynes is showing off a massive emerald-cut ring set in platinum on her left ring finger. Another person’s hand is seen, albeit with a simple gold band around their finger. The caption reads: “Engaged to tha [sic] love of my life.”

The next day, the “Hairspray” star posted a photo of herself standing beside a man – presumably her fiance – who is wearing a blue-and-black chequed shirt and glasses. In the caption, she simply wrote: “Lover.”

The identity of Bynes’ fiance is still unknown, although reports say that the couple met while attending Alcoholics Anonymous late last year.

Bynes is currently staying in a sober-living house after suffering a stress-related relapse. However, with marriage seemingly on the cards, things may now start looking up for the former actress.
