Amal Clooney Gives Birth to Twins
Amal Clooney and husband, George Clooney have just become first-time parents, and boy, the world is excited!
A representative for the couple confirmed that Amal gave birth to a healthy boy and girl on Tuesday in London, and that she and the newborn babies are doing fine.
The representative also revealed the names of the babies: Ella and Alexander Clooney.
In a sassy quip, the couple’s representative hinted that the experience has been overwhelming for first-time father, George:
“Ella, Alexander and Amal are all healthy, happy and doing fine. George is sedated and should recover in a few days.”.
The news of Amal’s pregnancy first broke in February, when ‘The View’ co-host, Julie Chen, confirmed that the famed human rights lawyer was expecting.
Shortly afterwards, George’s mother, Nancy, confirmed to Vogue magazine that Amal was expecting a boy and a girl.
A source close to the family of four said that they will remain in the UK and raise their children in London for ‘at least the first few years of their lives’.
