Alex Iwobi Signs New Deal With Arsenal

Nigerian superstar soccer player, Alex Iwobi, has allegedly signed a brand new contract with English Premier League side, Arsenal.

The new contract will apparently keep the 19-year old Nigerian with Arsenal for at least the next 5 years until 2021.

Iwobi made his debut for Arsenal in October of last year and has since enjoyed regular play time with the legendary English side.

Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger, has also expressed his fondness of Iwobi and has said that there is a lot of promise in the youngster from Africa:

“…[sic] He’s worked with us since the start of the season and he has grown, gained confidence and when he came in he had an impact straight away…You cannot cheat people. They’ve seen how quickly he’s improved and how well he’s played. It’s surprising how quickly he’s integrated into our game,” he said on Arsenal’s official website recently.

Iwobi will also be pocketing a great deal of money with this new signing.

It is believed that the young soccer star will now earn £30 000-a-week, which quote the improvement from his first offer of  £10,000-a-week.
