Aguero Happy at Man City
Manchester City striker, Sergio Aguero, has said that he is very happy at the club and that he is keen to stay at Etihad Stadium for another season.
Reports suggested that Aguero may be let go, after Pep Guardiola’s, comments on completely restructuring his team for the upcoming EPL season.
Several City players, including Aguero, are still waiting to hear whether or not they will be offered an extension on their contracts during the current transfer window.
Guardiola is said to have his eye on quite a few strikers, including Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez. Should this be the case, Aguero would have to make way for any incoming strikers.
However, Aguero seems confident about his place at City.
“I feel very happy here, so I will fulfil my contract to stay here until the end of my contract [sic]…I have not thought about where to play next. I just want to focus on the work here,” he said.
Aguero had a solid season with City, scoring 33 goals in 45 appearances for the club.
“I think my season was not bad. My form was pretty good…that is true I missed a lot of games and that stopped me from helping the team score more goals. But overall it was a very positive season,” he said.
