Adele Looking for Love after Splitting from Husband
Adele is reportedly ‘excited’ to start dating again, after she announced her shocking split from husband, Simon Konecki, last week.
The “Hello” hitmaker began dating Konecki – the CEO of Drop4Drop, a charity that provides clean drinking water to developing countries – in 2011. Their son, Angelo, was born a year later.
It is believed that the couple secretly tied the knot in 2016. However, rumours that their marriage was struggling have emerged over the years.
In a statement released last Friday, 19 April, a representative revealed that the couple had separated and that they were “committed to raising their son together lovingly”.
Now, a source claims that the singer is ready to start looking for love again.
Speaking to a media outlet, the source explained: “[Adele’s] been excited speaking to men again. She is very much in the courting phase. She’s attracted to other men and accepts it is over with [Konecki] for good this time … she has asked friends to look out for potential dates.”
However, the source added that the singer “doesn’t want to rush or get into something too serious too soon”.
