It may very well be winter, but that doesn’t mean you can’t get all the nutrients you need in the day from a delicious, healthy, nutrient-packed smoothie!
Whether you have them in the morning for breakfast or for an afternoon snack, smoothies are always a great way to get the good stuff – plus they are delightfully delicious!
Here are three of our favourite super smoothie recipes you should definitely try:
- Banana Ginger Smoothie
This smoothie is as delicious as it is healthy, and the ginger will definitely give you the kick you need!
Ingredients:
1 whole banana
1 cup vanilla or plain yoghurt
1 teaspoon finely grated ginger
2 tablespoons of honey
Cut the banana into pieces and then, by adding the yoghurt first, blend everything together in a blender.
- Blueberry, Banana and Green Tea
There are so many antioxidants in Green Tea, you’ll be amazed at how amazing it will make you feel!
Ingredients:
1 whole banana
1 bag of good quality green tea
1 cup of blueberries
1 tablespoon of water
Half a cup of milk or soy milk
Break the tea bag open and add the tea leaves to your blender, then, as usual, blend everything together.

This smoothie is great for a breakfast replacement, as all the good stuff in the berries will certainly kickstart your day.
Ingredients:
1 cup blueberries
1 cup raspberries
1 cup strawberries
1 cup plain yoghurt
1 tablespoon honey
Mix it all together and enjoy an energising morning!
