3 New Cases Of Ebola In Guinea

A senior health official in Guinea has confirmed that three more people in the region has been diagnosed with the Ebola virus.

The three were infected in Forecariah in western Guinea from the family of a woman who died of Ebola and whose body was handled without appropriate protection, various sources claim.

Spokesperson for the national centre for the fight against Ebola, Fode Tass Sylla, said that there are currently nine people in Guinea affected with the ebola virus:

“…[sic] In all, nine sick people are being treated at our centres throughout the country and most are connected to the dead woman,”

The entire Ebola epidemic started in Guinea in December of 2013.
