2017 CMT Music Awards: Winners

June 08, 2017

The 2017 CMT Music Awards were held last night at the Music City Center in Nashville, where  the red carpet was filled with country music royalty.

This year’s award show was hosted by Charles Esten, the star of ‘Nashville’, a TV series inspired by the world of country music.

While Esten did an amazing job as first time host, it was the string of incredible performances that made this year’s award show one to remember.

Backed by a live band led by legendary musician, John Bohlinger, country music favourites, such as Little Big Town, Blake Shelton and Lady Antebellum, took to the stage.

Keith Urban and Carrie Underwood performed a stunning version of their duet, ‘The Fighter’. Urban was one of the evening’s biggest winners, scooping four awards, including Video of the Year and Social Superstar of the Year.
