2016 MTV Video Music Awards: Nominations

When it comes to music videos, one of the biggest accolades any artist hopes to receive is an MTV Video Music Award.

With MTV being pioneers in music videos, it really is one of the most sought after awards for music videos.

This year’s nominees feature quite the variety of artists, and most of them being some controversial music videos.

These include Beyonce’s much-talked about Lemonade album and subsequent videos, as well as Kanye West’s super-controversial Famous music video.

One person that is noticeably absent from the nomination list in any category is Taylor Swift… One wonders what the Queen of country-pop will have to say about this!
